100 new houses for Southwick?

Redrow Homes have submitted an application to build on a site south of Blind Lane. The scheme is described as: "Outline application for the development of up to 100 residential dwellings, together with open space, sustainable urban drainage, vehicular and pedestrian access, landscaping and related infrastructure and engineering works."
In their submission Redrow refer to Wiltshire Council's inability to keep its planning policies up to date, and claim the application should therefore be granted permission.
