A safe crossing for Blounts Court?

4 Oct 2018

FOCUS editor Alan Rankin's campaign for a safer crossing of the A360 by the George and Dragon in Potterne has moved a step forward.

"I was delighted to hear at Potterne Parish Council's meeting in September that they've recognised the dangerous nature of crossing the A360," said local campaigner Alan Rankin.

Alan continued, "While I still believe that the best solution in the long term is a zebra crossing, the funding that has been allocated to clear away foliage and part of the wall on the George and Dragon side of the road will improve visibilty for those wishing to cross safely and drivers travelling along it. I will keep pressing both Wiltshire Council and Potterne Parish Council to make our village safer for everyone."
