Andrew speaking up for Larkrise

Former teacher, Andrew Bryant spoke in support of local parents whose children go to Larkrise school.

Andrew attended the Wiltshire Council Cabinet meeting last month and told the ruling Conservatives that their plan to close the local school was wholly wrong and harmful for our most vulnerable students.

Speaking after he had addressed the ruling Conservative Council leadership Andrew said, "I know just how hard parents of children with special needs work for and worry about their children.

Larkrise school in Trowbridge is a very special place. The school, its teachers, parents and children are an integral part of our community. This school should stay open in Trowbridge.

We should not be bussing vulnerable young people to Rowde."
