The latest victims of the WC axe are the children of Wiltshire. Childrens' Centres were started by the Labour Government ten years ago and have helped and supported thousand of families. 28 of them currently operate in the county. This number is set to be reduced to 15 when current contracts end next year. Within our constituency Trowbridge Bellefield and Longfield will go, as will Warminster and Mere. Trowbridge Studley Green, Westbury and Tisbury will remain.

There is a WC pseudo-consultation on the proposals here
