Could this be the end to Sunday Parking Charges?

WLD

At a recent committee to scrutinise Wiltshire Council's budget for the year ahead, Lib Dem Deputy Leader Ruth Hopkinson asked if there would be any income in the next year from Sunday Parking Charges.

In response, Conservative Council Leader Philip Whitehead admitted that "There is no income in the budget from Sunday Parking Charges".

Liberal Democrats across Wiltshire have been campaigning to put an end to Sunday Parking Charges, which would do more harm than good to Wiltshire's already struggling high streets.

Should Mr. Whitehead's comment ring true, this would be a huge win for residents.
