Funding found for Coronation Road 20mph Limit

A 20 mph limit for Coronation road and the surrounding streets could be confirmed before the end of the year.
September's Area Board meeting voted to support the proposal by local councillor Jon Hubbard to support the introduction of the new limit by allocating £5,000 of funding towards the scheme.
The Town Council has already pledged the same, meaning that the final hurdle will be getting the Community Area Transport Group to agree to proceed with the scheme.
Cllr Jon Hubbard commented, "I'm delighted to be able to confirm this funding, hopefully we can now get on with making this area around the Manor School safer for children and residents."
