Jon Hubbard re-elected Lib Dems leader at Wiltshire Council

Jon Hubbard has been elected leader of Wiltshire Council's Liberal Democrats for a further year following the group's annual meeting at County Hall on Saturday (May 4th) following this years Unitary elections.

The Melksham South councillor was first elected to the post three years ago and led the group to the best Lib Dem result in the country on 2nd May.

Dr Helena McKeown (Salisbury St. Edmund and Milford) was elected as Deputy Leader of the group.

The party group will choose it's lead members on the council's scrutiny commissions and statutory and regulatory bodies, such as planning and licensing committees, at the second stage of its two-part annual meeting on Saturday morning (May 11th).
