While the Eurovision Song Contest was a disappointment, the European elections saw history made! The Lib Dems got more votes than the Conservatives and Labour parties.
In Wiltshire the Lib Dem vote rose by 15%, getting almost as many as the Conservatives and Labour added together!

Two Lib Dem Members of the European Parliament were elected; Caroline Voaden and Martin Horwood. They join 3 from the Brexit Party and one Green.
For the first time ever no Conservative or Labour candidate was elected in the South West.
