Lib Dem: woman-goes-year-without-buying 'anything I don't need' in New Year challenge

I just wanted to share to share this story with you, Becky is a Lib Dem friend of mine.

A couple of days ago she tweeted about how two weeks before Christmas last year (2018) she watched a #DavidAttenborough show, #BluePlanet and it inspired me to take massive action

Her #NewYearChallenge in 2019 was a not-buying-anything-I-don't-need-year and the tweets were picked up by the Mirror and changed into a story, she even made it onto the BBC yesterday to talk about her year of sustainable living.

Its not for everyone, but it shows how we can all make changes to our lives and with a little creativity positively impact the environment. Hope Becky's story inspires others to do the same.
