Marks and Spencer heading back to Trowbridge

An application for the redevelopment of the old Peter Black site at County Way in Trowbridge was approved by Wiltshire Council in 2015. The scheme includes four main buildings - the largest will be an M&S Simply Food store. The main vehicular access will be from County Way, and there will be a total of 148 parking spaces. A footbridge over the river to connect to the St Stephen's Place site and the Odeon cinema was installed in autumn 2016.

Update Dec 2016 - one of the smaller units is destined to be occupied be 'Firezza', a brand of Pizza Express. Signage application on WC planning website.

Update Jan 2017 - and pizza will also be available from unit 2B - another signage application from Domino's. The building at the eastern end of the site by the Tesco footbridge will be a Toby carvery. Signage application
