Mears fails again
Mears Care Limited, who provide a 'Help to Live at Home' service for Wiltshire Council, have been severely criticised by the Care Quality Commission. A follow-up inspection was carried out by the CQC in August, after their previous inspection in June identified serious failings.
The latest CQC report says that although there was some improvement between the two inspections, standards were still low, and some of Mears' clients were suffering because of the poor service they were receiving.
