Wiltshire Council is changing some mobile library routes.

A full set of proposed schedules in alphabetical order by location and each route can be found by visiting the Wiltshire Libraries home page at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/libraries and following the links to Mobile Library Consultation.

WC say that in order for a mobile library stop to be viable it should attract an average of four customers. Where a stop has failed to meet this target over a 12 month period, they will discontinue the stop to allow for busier to stops to be extended or new ones created where demand exists. Any users who were unable to use an alternative mobile stop or a branch library, could apply for the Home Library Service.

Please send your comments to Rebecca Bolton, Outreach Services Manager by Friday 11 May 2012 using the mobilelibraries@wiltshire.gov.uk email address. Please identify the stop - for example "route B stop 6".

WC will be consulting Parish Councils, and staff on the four Wiltshire mobile libraries will also be consulting their users. Revised routes will start in July.
