Morrisons leading on Innox redevelopment

19 Sep 2014

Trowbridge Area Board at its meeting on September 18th heard an update on the Innox Riverside Development from Angus Horner, Managing Director of Prorsus. He explained that the intention was still to build out the original scheme, planning permission for which was granted on appeal. This will include the cinema and restaurants as well as the supermarket. Morrisons have now taken on the overall responsibility for the development.

Subject to a further planning application a petrol station will also be included.

At the moment demolition is taking place. This has to go slowly for now because of the amount of asbestos in the old Bowyers buildings, but should be mostly finished by the end of October. The next job will be crushing the inert debris and grading the site with relocation of services.

The overall completion date is estimated at Spring 2015.
