New trains and buses for Melksham

On Demember 8th we will finally see a decent service reintroduced to Melksham Station. The new service will see 8 trains in each direction running Monday to Saturday with a slightly reduced service running on Sundays.

In addition the number 15 bus has been introduced running up Snowberry Lane and linking the new homes on the East of Melksham development with the town.

Finally, the X72 service linking Bath and Melksham has had its route adjusted so that the bus now serves all of Queensway on every journey.

Local councillor Jon Hubbard commented, "We need to seize the opportunity of these new trains and busses. I urge local residents to use them or else we may well lose them. This is too important to lose."
