Wiltshire Council has published an order to enforce parking restictions at Airman's Corner. Currently drivers can avoid paying English Heritage (EH) parking fees by leaving their cars on the road, as the existing yellow lines are not legally enforceable.

A Traffic Regulation Order has been advertised which will remove the loophole by restricting parking on the A360 to the west and south of the junction, on the B3069 to the north, and on the A344 between the roundabout and the coach park access.

An objection to the proposal was received from a local resident, who saw it as an unnecessary restriction, the purpose of which was to make money for EH.
