Paxcroft Mead Forum

Paxcroft Mead Community Forum are holding their AGM on Saturday April 28th at 11.45am in the Community Centre. Refreshments will be available from 11.30.

The Forum was formally inaugurated at a meeting in the community centre in October 2009. Steering group chairman Jonathan Hawkes explained to about 40 residents how it would work and what it could achieve. The terms of reference of the Forum were adopted and a committee of nine residents set up.

The Forum acts as a voice for the community in dealing with problems such as future developments and parking provision.

If you live on Paxcroft Mead you'll know that the estate has a Community Centre and club at its heart. More people are though needed to keep the centre thriving.
