Petition on Newtown pedestrian crossing

Trowbridge councillor Stewart Palmen will present a petition to Wiltshire Council next Tuesday. You can read about the problems caused by the siting of the current crossing, and sign the petition, here.
According to the complex WC constitution, this petition has sufficient signatures to be presented to Council, but does not reach the threshold for debate.
So it'll just be sent off to the Highways and Transport service for consideration.
