Play Area Wall Remains Concern

Residents are rightly aggrieved at David Wilson Homes for refusing to acknowledge the potential issues of the loose stones at the base of their retaining wall - adjacent to the play area at the Beaufort Park (St Ivel) estate.
Wiltshire Council adopted the play park in 2015 and recently agreed to pay for the park benches to be improved but the wall and the rest of the estate is still the responsibility of the developer.
Town Councillor David Bowler has been monitoring the wall on a regular basis and Cllr Chris Hurst has requested a site visit from Building Control.
