Pumkin's Tower can be a house

Wiltshire Council has given Energy Measurement Ltd permission to convert Pumkin's Tower in Bythesea Road into a house.

The well-known local landmark was used as office accomodation until last year. The conversion will not change the appearance of the building, with work being necessary to the interior only. A previous application a few years ago for change of use to a dwelling was allowed at the time but no work took place so the permission lapsed.
