Ringway get Wiltshire highways contract

19 Jan 2016

The WC cabinet agreed this morning to award the highways maintenance contract from April 2016 to Ringway Infrastructure Services Limited.

The contract, which is worth £15m per year, will mean the company is responsible for the maintenance of roads, street lights and pavements, clearing drains, gritting roads and emergency repairs. It runs for five years, with a possible extension of a further two years.

The contractor, which ran the contract in Wiltshire between 1999 and 2013, was appointed following a thorough tendering exercise which saw four companies assessed in terms of price and quality.
