Tarmac apply to redevelop Westbury Cement Works site

An outline application for the development of a rail-served slab track manufacturing facility including offices and a laboratory, with a concrete batching plant; provision for storage, handling and transfer of raw and finished product; reconfiguration of the existing rail sidings; use of the existing site access onto the A350 and use of existing on-site roadways, has been submitted to Wiltshire Council.
