The Emergency Services Show is back

6 Apr 2017

After a break last year the show returns - it'll be on September 3rd at Kemble airfield.

The Emergency Services Show provides a platform for all of the 'blue light' services to demonstrate their appliances, equipment and skills to the public.

Organised by a committee of volunteers, the Show is supported by Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, Wiltshire Police, South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and many others.

The Show also involves a wide range of charitable organisations which are integral to the work of the emergency services, such as search & rescue teams, blood bike groups, volunteer medics and air ambulances.

Since 2015, the Show committee has been a charitable trust in its own right. Proceeds from each event are donated to charities that support the emergency services, and over £115,000 has been awarded in this way to date.

The 2017 event will be held on Sunday 3 September, at Cotswold Airport near Kemble (just north of Malmesbury).
