The end of Farmer Giles?

Wiltshire Council has received a planning application to cease the existing Farmer Giles Farmstead visitor attraction business in Teffont, to demolish buildings, the car park, and other associated paraphernalia, and erect a single detached dwellinghouse on the site.
The application has the approval of Teffont parish council and is recommended for permission by WC planners. It went to the Southern Area Planning committee on October 16th... Agenda.
... and was refused because of the new dwelling, and the lack of public open space.
