... has been granted a license by Wiltshire Council after a Hearing today. The club will trade under the name of 'SN15' at 17 Station Hill Chippenham. The old Karma had its license revoked after a long catalogue of problems with noise and anti-social behaviour associated with the club. The new company has no connection with the old management, and has been given a long list of conditions it will have to keep to in order to keep its license, not to cause a nuisance to neighbours, and not to cause more work for the local police.
Work is underway to rebuild the interior of the venue to comply with safety and sound-proofing requirements, and operators hope to open for business next year.
