Today's story - on the naming of storms

As the equinoctial gales pass among us, the Met Office is proudly parading the list of names it's given them. But the MO is a forecaster of weather, not its parent. If we let it get away with naming the weather it will next claim ownership of the weather and then start charging us for using it.

This website has seen the real list of names of storms - the names they know themselves by, that their mothers and fathers gave them in their Caribean homes. Those names are less wimpish and more real than those of the MO, and here they are:
