More than 50 visitors including members of the Trowbridge Youth parliament representing more than 17 schools attended the official ceremony today, to open the Community Garden within Trowbridge Park. Friends of Trowbridge Park say they "are proud to witness the successful fruition of an idea that started just 18 months ago and the impressive coming together of schools, businesses and the community at large to produce a fusion of art, history & gardening in one small plot. Congratulations to all those involved."

All are encouraged to visit the garden and learn more about the work of the young people of Trowbridge. The garden is located opposite the Trowbridge Information Centre.
