Trowbridge parking restrictions - result of consultation

Wiltshire Council wants to put more yellow lines in a number of roads around the town. Most will go ahead as advertised, but there are a number of minor amendments and the proposals for Gloucester Road and Timbrell Street have been revised and will be re-advertised.

The consultation generated a wide range of responses including petitions against some of the changes and letters of support for others.

Some of the restrictions were suggested by the Fire Brigade who can't get their vehicles down some streets.

On these roads the proposals will be implemented as advertised: Bradford Road, Brewery Walk, Clarendon Road, Drynham Road, Westbourne Road, Eastbourne Road, Lambrok Road, Wesley Road, Union Street, Westbourne Gdns, Wingfield Road.

On these they'll be implemented with minor amendments: Charlotte Street, Stancomb Avenue.
