Trowbridge Town Council Switch to 100% Green Energy Suppliers

Trowbridge Town Council last year declared a Climate Emergency and this year stated they would switch to a 100% Green Energy Suppliers when the current contracts expired.
At last night's Policy and Resources Committee meeting a new contract with Opus Energy was signed for 100% Renewable Gas and Electricity. The Supply will start from the end of March. Trowbridge Town Council are moving much faster than a lot of other Parish and Town Councils to combat the Climate Emergency thanks to constructive motions from The Lib Dem Team.
