Trowbridge Town see the light

12 Jul 2012

An application for six 15m floodlights on Trowbridge Town FC's North Bradley site went to the planning committee on July 11th. There were a small number of objections from residents but most people who responded to the consultation were positive about the scheme, and the committee voted to permit the lights with restrictions on hours and the number of times per year they could be used.

Initial concerns about light glare into the road and neighbouring properties were resolved by improving the design.

Having the lights should allow the club to play at a higher level and to enter the FA Vase competition.
