Wiltshire Council Fat Cat pay-offs

Wiltshire Council paid out well over half a million pounds to just two officers in the financial year 2011/12.

The total package paid to Andrew Kerr, including salary, allowances, pension contributions and 'compensation for loss of Office' came to £328,150. Kerr left the council in November 2011.

Another corporate director who left in December 2011 received £233,713, of which £126,165 was compensation.

The figures are revealed in a report to the WC Audit Committee see pages 117 and 118.

The name of the other corporate director is not revealed.

Former director Mark Boden, who left the council in December 2011, has been given the job of Chief Executive for the Shetland Islands Council.
