Congratulations - Richard Budden Wins in Tisbury

The result of the by-election on Thursday 8th June was:

Richard Budden (Lib Dem) 1028 (67.0%), Quentin Edwards 507 (33.0%)

Richard's majority was 521 (32.0%) and the turnout was 42.6%.

The result in the 2021 local elections was: Nick Errington (Lib Dem) 793 (47.6%), Tony Deane (Con) 563 (33.8%), Julie Phillips (Green) 310 (18.6%); majority 230 and turnout 45.6%.

Richard says: "I’m delighted, as you’d expect, and most grateful to everyone who voted for me, and I'd also like to thank everyone who worked so hard and helped me in my campaign."
